Welcome Home Realty Team
Meet Our Team
Susie Jurgensen Broker/Owner
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Susie Vandehey Jurgensen. I am the Principal Broker and Owner of Welcome Home Realty, LLC. I have been working as a Real Estate Broker since 2007. With a background working with investors, including purchasing properties at the courthouse steps. I have a very diverse background and know how to find the best deals in the market. I really enjoy taking that investor knowledge and sharing it with move in buyers. I have a lot of fun assisting buyers in the hunt for the perfect home. I love getting to know them and seeing their eyes light up when they know they have found their next home.
My passion is listings. I would love to help you sell your home. I try to keep my commission costs reasonable while including professional photography, signage, lockbox, marketing all over the internet, etc.
My past experience has also led me to work with a lot of short sale properties. This is an emotional and stressful process and it is not to be taken lightly when selling a home. I work with compassion and empathy through this process and I have great resources for assuring all goes smoothly.
I also have a great knowledge of Oregons Measure 49 properties. My reason for getting into real estate had to do with my parents want to divide their property and allow for their kids to build under Measure 37. As we all know, measure 37 was then ammended by Measure 49. After we got the Measure 49 approval I did the lot division on my parents property and learned a great deal about the process. Not only did I learn about how to do the lot division, I also learned a lot about new construction, septic, wells and a whole other range of great information that I can share with my clients when looking at lots and land.
I have learned and retained a lot of information through my Real Estate career and I would love to be able to assist you in selling or buying your home.

Professional Experience Who says the grass is always greener. Having made it to the other side and I can tell you most of the time the lawn is still brown, but with a little water and a lot of love it greens right up. My real estate journey began after a lay off in 2001 from the tech industry. As a forever single mom, I was a little perplexed, I had to provide stability for my little family. So what do I do? I headed back to school and finished my BFA in sculpture at Marylhurst University in 2006. It was a tough adjustment, going back to school at the age of 42, but once I found my niche I persevered, now my free time is spent welding a hunk of metal into a work of art. My interest in real estate was imparted to me by my grandfather who made a shift to real estate after he retired from Ma Bell after 50 years. Of course, when I entered the market it started its downturn, but again I persevered and moved my career forward one win at a time. Again education played a key role in allowing me to build a strong knowledge base that enables me to help my clients meet their goals. What I love about my role is getting my client results. I don t sugar coat everything; I am upfront and honest, and in the end, my reward is the moment I can say you are recorded. Whether you are a first time home buyer looking for the perfect place to make a start, buying your 2nd, 3rd or whatever home to fit the family, or selling your home, you can count on my years of experience to guide you to a successful closing. My team and I are dedicated to helping every client meet their real estate goals whether buying their first home or establishing and building a portfolio of rental.

When I first met my husband playing T-Ball at the age of 5, it was not what you would consider love at first sight. I can now say that has changed, thankfully, and we have been happily married for 3 years now. Summer of 2017 we welcomed our daughter into the world, and in February of 2019 we welcomed our son. The three of them are what motivate me everyday, they are my reason why I wake up, the reason why I am able to do what I love as a career, and the reason why I keep pushing myself. I decided to get into realestate to show my children that they can do anything she sets her mind to.
As a Realtor, I am my own boss, I run my own business. To me, each client, customer, and transaction becomes more, it becomes personal and the people become like family to me. I love getting to know people and then helping them fullfil their dreams. Real Estate is my business, a way for me to provide for my family, a way for me to help others make memories that will last them a lifetime.
That is just a little about myself, I am looking forward to get to know more about you and what memories you want to make in your new home. I cannot wait to be a piece of your journey along the way.
